Those of you who have followed my blog for the past 10 years may have caught on how obsessed I am with the ocean and the beach. I have written many blogs detailing visits to the beach and the meditations that have ensued. One of my favorites is Senses Come Alive at the Beach (why not take a moment or two and pause here).

Well imagine my delight when I discovered a crochet pattern for an ocean wave. I’ve been crocheting since my mom taught me as a child…I love it! It relaxes me but is productive at the same time.

Well, since that first ocean wave I made for my sister’s 70th birthday just over 3 years ago, I’ve made and given many ocean waves as gifts of encouragement, birthday, hostess, etc. And the last 2 Christmases, I sold several.
