He HIMSELF: our Peace
/But now in Christ Jesus
you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For he himself is our peace…
Ephesians 2:13-14a
Peace is a Person. Peace is not an entity that God pours down on us if we ask correctly. No, a Person, the Lord Jesus, is Peace. And if we have that Person, we have Peace residing within us.
And if Jesus resides in us (Colossians 1:27), then we bring the Prince of Peace into every situation we go. Isn’t that life changing?
We bring peace because Peace is a Person! Think on that …
